We also have input from our specialist consultant. There is also a full time activities coordinator who works with the individual and the multidisciplinary team in planning, implementing and reviewing activity programmes informed by what is meaningful to the individual, and the therapeutic rational that underpins the activity.

The multidisciplinary team has an emphasis on measurable outcomes (both long and short term) all packages of care are predetermined, person specific and have an on-going assessment process to determine outcomes. The gym and hydrotherapy pool are dedicated facilities for use by individuals who have specifically tailored therapy programmes to meet within their rehabilitation or continuing care outcomes. Separate review / consulting rooms are available for sessional work and the residents are encouraged to join in the activities’ timetables throughout the week.
