Through the most difficult times you were always there for her and although I was a long way away I knew she was well cared for. You always took the time speak to me on the phone, even when busy. To all the staff “ Our mum lived with you for 7 years and the last few months were really difficult for her and us as she got poorly. But we really appreciated the kindness, sympathy, and support through this time. ”

Heron Court “ My Mum has been a resident at Heron Court since she was discharged from hospital in March. The care she has received has been exemplary. Previously she was in a home where this was not the case and she had a bad fall. The contrast could not be greater. The staff are extremely caring and build positive relationships with the residents as individuals. My Mum is as happy as is possible, given her degree of dementia, for example, her personal care is meticulous and she even has little treats like having her nails painted. The nursing care is also first class and the Home has succeeded in healing a wound on Mum’s head which had deteriorated both in the previous home and in hospital. The home is welcoming and I always feel that my visits are valued. I really think my Mum is getting the best of care at Heron Court. ”
Good Standard “ I would recommend this home to any family out there that is having to deal with the reality of planning for a relative with vascular dementia ”
